Passion
A home entertainment system is not just a conglomeration of black
boxes with no apparent connection to each other besides the
cables that pass signals along. And all black boxes are not created
equal no matter what anyone may think. At whatever level you dial
into, it is essential to have the correct parts, parts that work well
together and control well together. THAT is what gives the "one
button push" experience that makes using a complex system
simple and reliable.
This doesn't mean that you automatically have to replace all of your
existing gear, but it does mean that in order to make it function
properly in a SYSTEM, some parts may have to be added, deleted or
changed. But isn't the goal to have a neatly configured and easily
operated system that doesn't intimidate anyone? Do you really need
a "preflight checklist" just to fire up a movie? TV on-Check. AVR
on-Check. Change TV input-Check. Load DVD-Check. Change AVR
input-Check. Dim lights- Check. Return to chair- Check.

How about one button: Movie. You put the DVD in the tray, and one
button push does the rest. And when the movie is over, one button
turns it all off or switches you back to cable or satellite. Even the
babysitter can do that, no cheat-sheet necessary.
Lighting control? Instead of big banks of switches and dimmers,
have a simple, elegant, backlit keypad for lights. It will do a lot with
very little wall clutter. Use tabletop controllers for more function, or
the TV remote or touchscreen for consolidated control.

And your room will seem larger when you get rid of the
entertainment center and hang the plasma on the wall. Put the
equipment in another room or closet and control it with an RF
remote.

Send music or movies to your patio or lanai. Put speakers out by
the pool. Send music through the house and control each room
independently. Use an Ipod dock to access your music collection,
program music channels on the remote or surf your collection on
the TV. Music servers allow you to enjoy your music easily, like
never before.
Home entertainment puts the fun in your house.
Home entertainment puts the passion in what we do.
We want to see everyone with the best system possible. That is
what drives our system design. Designing a system for your
lifestyle, your budget, and your needs is our goal.
